2025 Scholarship Program

The CG Chapter of Blacks In Government is now accepting applications for our 2024 Scholarship Program.

We are pleased to announce and present our 2025 Scholarship Application for graduating high school students who plan to attend college in the Fall 2025. Applicants must reside within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, which includes Maryland and Virginia.

Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2025. Selected scholarship recipients will receive $250 to $750 to continue their education at an accredited college. Notification of selected scholarship recipients will be made in the June timeframe.

Cash awards to be given as follows

(minimum):

1st Place: $350

2nd Place: $100

3rd Place: $50

Any donations collected minus Event Brite fees , 100% will be used to increase cash awards.

Registrants must meet the following conditions to confirm contest entry:

Must be a high school student in grade 9, 10, 11, or 12
Agree to provide email address to receive additional contest information
Agree to complete and submit entry form and background information form by April 9th
Agree to provide copy of birth certificate by May 1st
Can not have ever been a 1st place winner at a National Blacks In Government STEM competition
